Bawtry's Number One Arts venue
The Phoenix Theatre is home to Bawtry Dramatic Society, producing between three and four productions a year; the Young Players, who meet every Saturday morning and perform in around two productions a year; Bawtry Film Society, showing around 20 critically acclaimed British and foreign films a season; and regular Music evenings.

Theatre Hire
The theatre, together with its coffee lounge and bar facilities, can be hired out for local community, school events and plays. It is also regularly used by touring performers and acting companies.
