We'll Always Have Paris - May 2023

Three women of a 'certain age' gravitate to Paris. There's Nancy, a retired headmistress; Anna, recently widowed - and free; and Raquel, a divorcee in search of eternal youth and a new toy boy. A feel-good play with laughter and tears, the promise of romance, friendship and anger. We'll Always Have Paris is certainly a play that will leave the audience charmed, amused and thoughtful.

Murdered to Death

A comic detective thriller, with a cast of characters in the best Agatha Christie tradition. Among them a stiff upper lip Colonel, the mysterious butler, a shady frenchman and his moll, a local lady sleuth who seems to attract murders wherever she goes, a bumbling detective, and the Lady of the house;- Who will be shot in the foot? Who will die first? All will be revealed.

What would you do if you picked up the wrong briefcase on your way home from the office? Take it to the police of course. But what if the briefcase contained nearly a million pounds in used banknotes?

Henry Perkins, a mild mannered accountant, accidentally picks up the wrong briefcase... One full of money. Henry assumes it is illicit cash and he decides to keep it. Knowing that the former owner must have his briefcase, he rushes home to book one way fares to Barcelona, they can go to Bali. In fact, they can buy Bali!

The doorbell rings as they wait for their taxi. The police detective at the door thinks Henry was soliciting in the men's room of the local pub. Actually he was sitting in the loo counting the cash. The bell rings again. Another detective arrives thinking Henry is dead; a man with bullet holes in his head and Henry's briefcase were found in the Thames. Henry's inept attempts to extricate himself from this impossible situation make a wonderful farce from the master of that genre, Ray Cooney.
