Our Story
At the heart of Bawtry Phoenix Theatre is a shared love of the performing arts. Home to Bawtry Dramatic Society, the Young Players and the Bawtry Film Society, the theatre brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to create, perform and enjoy a wide range of cultural events throughout the year.
As a volunteer-led organisation, we are proud to provide opportunities for people to get involved both on and off the stage. From acting, directing and stage management to set building, lighting, sound and front-of-house roles, our members work together to create memorable experiences for audiences and participants alike.
Today, the theatre continues to serve as a welcoming community venue, hosting productions, film screenings, live music and special events while supporting the next generation of performers through our Young Players programme.
