New Season is here! September to december 2025

WE ARE SHOWING THE FOLLOWING FILMS THIS SEASON:-

Sept 26th “Bridget Jones - Mad About the Boy”

Oct 3rd “Past Lives” - Oscar nominated film - excellent film!

Oct 17th “The Penguin Lessons.” - with Steve Coogan.

Oct 31st “Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning” with Tom Cruise.

Nov 7th “Marriage Italian Style” with Sophia Loren, Marcelo Mastroianni- great film.

Nov 21st “FI” with Brad Pitt

Dec 5th to be announced

Dec 19th “The Greatest Showman” - great musical for Christmas.

The Film Society meets on Friday evenings. Subtitles are shown on all screenings.

The membership to join for the season is £24, paid in advance.

New members are welcome to join at any time in the season, at a charge of £3.00 per remaining film to the end of the season -

Members are able to bring guests to a screening, at a cost of £4.00 per guest.

All films are projected from DVD onto a 12' by 10' screen utilising an excellent sound system. The doors open at 6.45pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. The competitively priced theatre bar will be open and Teas and Coffee are available.

(Bawtry Phoenix Film Society shares the constitution and comes under the umbrella of the Committee of Bawtry Dramatic Society, a registered charity. It is a member of the BFFS/Cinema For All.

At the Silver Screen every month you will be able to see a matinee performance of an iconic film, followed by Coffee and Cake for just £4.00.
